CME: Pre-Hopsital Disaster Mass Casualty Simulation

Thanks to Deanne et al. for arranging a fantastic simulation session on pre-hospital disaster mass casualty management. This provided a great opportunity to be educated / reminded about the specifics of patient management in this setting. Specifically:

  • environmental limitations of the Casualty Clearing Post at the disaster scene
  • equipment and staffing resources available
  • assessment and management priorities in the pre-hospital disaster setting
