Stable Spinal Fractures in Trauma – Basic Management (>16 years age)

Here is a poster generated by a group of people representing the State Spinal Injury Service based at Royal Perth Hospital. The aim of this poster is to give Emergency Department clinicians practical guidance on the management of common stable spinal injuries, helping to identify fractures that can be safely managed through established pathways without routine discussion with the Royal Perth Hospital spinal service. The Royal Perth Hospital spinal service hopes this “supports timely, evidence-based care closer to home while ensuring specialist spinal services remain available for patients who genuinely need them”.
